Frequently Asked Questions

How does IronSwaps work?
IronSwaps is a simple crypto exchange interface. You select the coin you want to send, the coin you want to receive, enter your receiving wallet address, and send your funds to the deposit address shown. Once your deposit is confirmed on the blockchain, the exchanged coins are sent directly to your wallet. No account needed.
Do I need to register or verify my identity?
No. IronSwaps requires no registration, no email, and no KYC (identity verification). Simply enter your destination wallet address and start swapping.
How long does a swap take?
Most swaps complete within 5–30 minutes depending on the blockchain network confirmation times. Bitcoin transactions may take longer during periods of network congestion. You can track your swap status in real time using your transaction ID on our website.
What should I do if my swap is stuck or taking too long?
First, check the status of your swap using your transaction ID on the IronSwaps tracking page. If the status shows "waiting" it means we are still waiting for your deposit to be confirmed on the blockchain. If the swap has been stuck for more than 2 hours, contact us via Telegram: t.me/jolyIrony with your transaction ID.
Is IronSwaps safe to use?
IronSwaps acts as a non-custodial interface — your funds are only held briefly during the exchange process. We do not store private keys, passwords, or personal data. Always double-check your destination wallet address before sending funds, as cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible.
What cryptocurrencies are supported?
IronSwaps supports 50+ cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Monero (XMR), USDT (TRC20, SOL, BSC), Solana (SOL), BNB, Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC), and many more. The full list is available directly on the swap widget.
What is the minimum swap amount?
Minimum amounts vary by currency pair and current market conditions. The minimum for your selected pair is displayed automatically on the swap widget. You can click the minimum amount hint to fill it in automatically.
What happens if I send less than the minimum amount?
If you send an amount below the minimum, the swap cannot be processed. In most cases the funds will be refunded to your refund address. This is why we strongly recommend setting a refund address before initiating a swap.
What is a refund address and do I need one?
A refund address is a wallet address where your funds will be returned if the swap cannot be completed for any reason. It is optional but strongly recommended. Always provide a refund address that you control.
Do you support Monero (XMR)?
Yes. IronSwaps fully supports Monero (XMR) both as a source and destination currency. XMR is one of our most popular swap pairs due to its privacy properties.
